campos Gal{\'a}ticos e Extragal{\'a}ticos. O intervalo de
frequ{\^e}ncia de 1.2-1.7 GHz est{\'a} operacional no BDA II.
Usando 14 antenas do sistema BDA-II, fomos capazes de fazer
observa{\c{c}}{\~o}es do Sol, nebulosa Crab e do pulsar Vela.
Neste relat{\'o}rio apresentamos as imagens 2D iniciais do Sol e
nebulosa Crab usando informa{\c{c}}{\~a}o somente de fase das
visibilidades do BDA a 1,405 GHz. A resolu{\c{c}}{\~a}o espacial
obtida na imagem Crab foi de 278,981 por 145,556 (arcsec) a pa
10,8244 (deg) o que est{\'a} de acordo com as linhas de base das
antenas do BDA-II utilizadas. Tamb{\'e}m apresentamos a
detec{\c{c}}{\~a}o inicial do sinal do pulsar Vela usando o
BDA-II. Atualmente continuamos os esfor{\c{c}}os de
depura{\c{c}}{\~a}o para solucionar os problemas de
sensitividade e o uso simult{\^a}neo de amplitude e fase das
observa{\c{c}}{\~o}es do BDA. ABSTRACT: In the second phase of
the Brazilian Decimetric Array, BDA (BDA-II), 26 antennas were
installed and debugged to perform high time resolution (100ms) two
dimensional imaging of the Sun and full synthesis observations of
the Extragalactic, Galactic fields. The frequency range 1.2-1.7
GHz is operational in BDA II. Using the 14 antennas of BDA-II
system we were able to make observation of Sun, Crab nebulae and
the Vela pulsar. In this report we present the initial 2D images
of Sun and Crab nebulae using the phase only information from the
BDA visibilities at 1.405 GHz. The spatial resolution obtained in
the Crab image was 278.981 by 145.556 (arcsec) at pa 10.8244 (deg)
which is in accordance with the BDA-II baselines of the antennas
used. We also present the initial detection of the Vela pulsar
signal using the BDA-II. Currently we continue our debugging
efforts to resolve the sensitivity issues and simultaneous use of
amplitude and phase information from of BDA-II observations.",
